I was born in Surrey, England. My early love of nature, light, form and shadows continued to enrich me and reinforced my deep desire to become an artist. My parents were both Spanish and I spent much time during my childhood in Andalusia, exposed to the rhythms and colours of daily rural life and came to cherish the simplicity, silence and beauty of many of the small towns I spent time in.

 

Art is a way to express oneself, and my paintings reflect many parts of my journey. I have always been drawn to the realist tradition. I have undertaken studies in London and Florence, Italy.

 

I hope to create art that evokes emotion and peace, which will resonate with the viewer.
